A native of Winter Park, Florida, Heather Seiler has been practicing Emergency Medicine in Central Florida for over 20 years. Heather is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and North Carolina, and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is certified in Obesity Management by both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Obesity Medicine Association (OMA). Heather is also a certified coach in "Lifestyle Therapeutics in Obesity Medicine". She is an active member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants, Obesity Medicine Association and The Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners.
Through Heather's 23 years of practice, she observed many of her patients' illnesses were directly caused or exacerbated by untreated excess weight. Heather's approach through "TheWellRx" encourages patients to meet their nutritional and weight loss goals in a positive and supportive manner. Heather enjoys educating others on health and nutrition and is an adjunct faculty member at FSU's School of Medicine, Nova Southeastern's Physician Assistant Program, and a preceptor at Arnold Palmer's Critical Care NP/PA fellowship program.
Heather's mission at "TheWellRx" is to "Retrain Bodies and Brains" by teaching patients how to successfully manage the 4 pillars (4Ms) of achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. The 4Ms: Meals, Movement, Lifestyle Modifications, and Medication.
Dr. Seela is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Yale University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), and Crohn's Colitis Foundation (CCF).
In addition to being an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, he is also a teaching attending physician at both the Florida Hospital Internal Medicine Residency and Family Practice Residence (MD and DO) programs. He is a regular contributing writer for Orlando Medical News and Spanish Magazine Tu Revista Mujer.

In addition to being an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, he is a teaching attending physician at both the Florida Hospital Internal Medicine Residency and Family Practice Residence (MD and DO) programs.
